Hello! My name is Daniella, but I go by Yella as well. I am currently 25 yrs old, I was born in Colorado, half raised here & half raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i.
I’ve been dancing since I was 6 when I joined a Mexican folk group & started performing around Colorado. I then was introduced to Hip Hop and various other styles when I was 13. I started teaching Hip Hop when I was 15 & doing various pop-ups and performances around the Big Island of Hawaii. Since then, I’ve had amazing mentors train me in Hawai’i. Continued my training around the states, & gone outside of the country to train in different studios. I have now joined Elemental teaching Fundamental Hip Hop after dedicating the past few years to being a SAHM.
My most favorite style to train is Hip-Hop, within that genre I focus on popping & locking, house, and krump mainly. Within my teaching I focus on house and Party/Club dances where Hip Hop culture originated from.
Something I’d love to contribute to students lives is leaving class feeling fulfilled mentally & physically. Have people invest their money and time into something special & rewarding. Creating a safe space for anyone to learn. Helping people with technique to carry & translate into something of their own for the future. I want to help people elevate to their goals and progress to further levels!
