Class Level Guide
Are you not sure which class is right for you? What does each of the dance levels mean? What should I expect? I will try my best to answer your questions below.
Beginner Level
These classes are best suited for people with little to no experience or for those who would like to revisit their fundamentals in a slower-paced environment. These classes offer an opportunity to grow at your own pace and slowly discover your dance style in the class you are participating in.
Intermediate Level
These classes are best suited for dancers with moderate dance experience who feel comfortable in a class setting and want to learn more complex movements that combine many fundamentals learned in the beginner level classes. These classes also offer additional training for dancers that want to advance in those dance styles or revisit a style that they have experience in.
Intermediate/Advanced Level
These classes are best suited for dancers with moderate to extensive dance experience who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and looking for an additional push to take their dancing to the next level. These classes also often have a lot of advanced movements that usually include the fundamentals but also a lot of harder moves that will challenge you.
Open Level
These classes are best suited for dancers of all levels and backgrounds, from beginners to advanced dancers! These classes usually take a set of moves or a concept through progression, where each level of dancer can find something to work on. These are great classes for developing self-confidence, growth, and seeing improvements in many different ways.
I hope this helps you have a better understanding of what each of the levels mean for the classes that are offered at Elemental Studios and that it encourages you to try out all the different classes that we have to offer!
